How Often Should I Schedule a Visit to the Pediatrician?

Brevard Health Alliance recommends the following schedule for your child’s pediatric care. Newborns should have a wellness check-up at two weeks, one month, two months, four months, six months, nine months, one year, 15 months, 18 months, and two years. After two years, they can have a yearly check-up with their pediatrician until they reach 18 years old.

Will Your Office Refer My Child to a Specialist?

If your child requires a pediatric specialist for speech, vision, hearing, or any number of specialists, our doctors will provide a recommendation. Most insurance companies provide coverage for visits to a pediatric specialist with approval from their pediatrician.
