This August, Brevard Health Alliance (BHA) is proud to join health centers across the country in celebrating National Health Center Week (NHCW), taking place August 3–9, 2025. This annual celebration, sponsored by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC), shines a light on the vital role Community Health Centers play in providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality health care to millions of Americans.

Celebrating 60 Years of ProgressThis year’s theme, “Celebrating 60 Years of Progress,” marks a significant milestone for the Community Health Center movement. For six decades, centers like ours have stood as pillars of strength and compassion—offering care, hope, and support to our neighbors. At BHA, this celebration carries an extra layer of meaning as we proudly commemorate our 20th anniversary of serving Brevard County.

Since our founding in 2005, Brevard Health Alliance has remained committed to our mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. We provide integrated care that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and case management services—regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we’re part of a powerful network of nearly 1,500 Community Health Centers delivering care at more than 16,000 sites nationwide.

This year, NHCW is organized around daily themes that reflect the wide-ranging impact of health centers and the people who make them possible:

  • Sunday, August 3 – Celebrating 60 Years of Progress: We reflect on the history and impact of the Community Health Center movement and our own two decades of service in Brevard County.
  • Monday, August 4 – Staff Appreciation Day: We honor the dedicated individuals—providers, nurses, front desk staff, and support teams—who bring our mission to life each day. BHA’s success is a direct result of their compassion, resilience, and expertise.
  • Tuesday, August 5 – Patient Appreciation Day: Our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We’re inspired every day by their trust and resilience, and we remain committed to delivering the quality care they deserve.
  • Wednesday, August 6 – Health Conditions Focus: We spotlight our work in chronic disease prevention and management, including diabetes, hypertension, and behavioral health care.
  • Thursday, August 7 – Populations Day: From children and seniors to veterans and people experiencing homelessness, we serve everyone—no matter their background or income.
  • Friday, August 8 – Partner Appreciation Day: We recognize our community partners whose collaboration strengthens our services and expands our reach.
  • Saturday, August 9 – Gratitude and Future Vision: We look forward to the next 60 years of innovation and community impact, rooted in access to healthcare for all.
